Yes! The time has come! We are practicing multiplication. This week, we will be reviewing the tens and twos. You can help improve your "multiplication reflexes" by practicing for 5-10 minutes every day. A few of my favorite sites are ones that allow you to focus on a specific set of multiplication problems:
Math Magician (this one has a timer!)
If you scroll down this page, you'll find many more, including Bonk the Mole, Math Models, and Diaper Derby!
And of course there are many sites located on the third grade web page as well (including many of the ones I've listed).
A site your child can also try that will allow them to track progress and earn points (much like IXL) is Sumdog. The usernames and passwords are different for Sumdog. I will send home a card with that information today.
